POST-GAME COMMENTS:
Head Coach Cam Rast on the match:
"We took it to them to start off the game but obviously you take a goal towards the end of the first half and it's deflating. I felt as though we got after it and were committed to the attack so that part was right. But we didn't take the moment well enough as they made the header and we had a header but missed it. So we need to take better care in those moments and we didn't and that's been a little bit of a theme for us this season."
Rast on his reflection on the season:
"Obviously, it's not the season we had hoped for. We had alot of potential and good pieces but we weren't consistent in some of the play, our lineup and that reflected on the results. I think the challenge to our guys is to take more control of the moments. We'll have a lot of our guys back next year as it's a pretty young group with plenty of sophomores and freshmen but we'll need to add some pieces. The team was frustrated with how things turned out but that's a good sign as they care and have passion for it. So as we look to next season, we have a lot of work to do and that includes with the players that return, and need to find others that can fill some of the void we'll have."
