SANTA CLARA, Calif. – The Santa Clara women's tennis team fell 5-2 to CSUN at home on Sunday. 

HOW IT HAPPENED:

• Santa Clara (2-3) got singles wins from Velizara Fileva and JennaMarie Gordon on courts three and one. 
• The Broncos dropped the first two doubles matches to fall behind 1-0.
• CSUN (3-0) extended its lead to 3-0 on singles wins on courts six and two before the Broncos picked up their first point.
• Playing on court three, Fileva downed Santibanez Luna, Vic 6-3, 6-4 to make it 3-1 on the team score.
• The Matadors clinched the match on court four when Emma Moratalla Sanz beat Gabriela Tevez 6-1, 7-5.

• The Broncos plays Nevada at home on Saturday.
