Team and Individual Results
SAN FRANCISCO - Santa Clara men's golf concluded play at the Goodwin on Saturday, turning in a 8-over 288 in the final round to finish the event in a tie for 22nd out of 31 teams at historic TPC Harding Park. Freshman
Jeffrey Kwak once again had the top round of the day with a 1-under 69 to finish in a tie for 46th.
ROUND HIGHLIGHTS:
- Kwak had four birdies as part of his final round. He climbed 21 spots in the individual standings to tie for 46th at 5-over 215.
- Calder Overfelt had his best 18-hole score of the tournament with a 2-over 72 to finish in a tie for 80th at 9-over 219.
- Nolan Forsman (72-72-74--218) tied for 68th, J.P. Odland (73-74-73--220) tied for 92nd and Muzzy Donohue (71-77-74--222) tied for 118th.
- The Broncos finished the event 28-over 289-291-288--868.
- Georgia took home the team title with a three-day total of 1-under 279-285-275--839.
- Utah's Braxton Watts (5-under 205) held off Stanford's Michael Thornbjornsen (4-under 206) for medalist honors.
