SAN JOSE, Calif. – The Santa Clara women's tennis team dropped a 4-0 contest to San Jose State on Friday. 

HOW IT HAPPENED:

• Santa Clara (2-6) fell 4-0 to San Jose State (8-1).
• The Spartans won their doubles matches 6-1 on court three and 6-2 on court one to go up 1-0.
• SJSU then took singles matches on courts six, five and the clincher on two to secure the victory.
• Irena Muradyan beat Finley Kalinic 6-1, 6-3 to clinch the match. 

• The Broncos host Jessup University on Saturday at 3 p.m. inside the Degheri Tennis Center.
