MORAGA, Calif. – Santa Clara women's tennis was defeated by Saint Mary's 4-0 in a West Coast Conference road match on Sunday afternoon. 

HOW IT HAPPENED:

• Saint Mary's (11-5, 4-1 WCC) won the first two doubles matches and won three-straight singles matches including the clincher from Juliette Daries to shut out Santa Clara 4-0. 
• Sofia Daryaie and Olivia Rook both won their doubles and singles matches.
• Rook teamed with Iman Khan at line one of doubles to defeat JennaMarie Gordon and Fileva 6-3 for the doubles point clincher.
• Daryaie won the first singles match on line six, followed by Rook on line five to give the Gaels a 3-0 advantage
• Santa Clara (5-11, 1-3 WCC) saw two of their singles matches at line one by JennaMarie Gordon and line two by Finley Kalinic go to three sets but both went unfinished. 

• Santa Clara play at Pacific on Tuesday in a match that was postponed from last weekend.
