SAN RAFAEL, Calif. – Santa Clara women's tennis players Finley Kalinic and Gabriela Tevez captured the doubles championship at the Holmes Burrell MTC Memorial Weekend Championships on Monday.

Kalinic and Tevez were among 22 players in the women's open doubles draw of the unsanctioned USTA event.

The Broncos tandem won three straight matches including a 3-6, 6-3, 1-0 (10-7) win over Mariko Fritz-Krockow and Stephanie Kusano Wallace in the finals to capture the championship.
