Box Score MORAGA, Calif. – With a chance to play spoiler, Santa Clara women's soccer earned a 1-1 draw at Saint Mary's to close out the regular season. The Broncos (8-6-5, 4-2-5 WCC) got on the board in the second half and the Gaels (12-2-4, 7-1-3 WCC) drew even with a penalty kick but their late push on offense didn't lead to another score.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- In the 59th minute, Lia Henkelman passed it to Kennedy Schoennauer on the Broncos side of the field. After a touch, Schoennauer hit a perfect pass to a streaking Mailin Orozco who was behind the defense. Orozco got one-on-one with the keeper and her shot hit the far post and then snuck just inside the near post.
- The Gaels evened things up in the 76th after a penalty was called in the box and Briana Salvetti converted the attempt.

- Santa Clara attempted five shots and put two of them on frame. The Broncos also earned six corner kicks.
- Saint Mary's had 12 shots with four on target. The Gaels had three corners in the match.
