The Santa Clara University men's water polo program earned multiple All-America honors from the Association of Collegiate Water Polo Coaches on Friday for the third consecutive year. Sophomore utility
Riccardo De Simon was named to the All-America third team, while sophomore utility
Henry Engs received All-America honorable mention recognition.

De Simon's third-team selection marked the second All-America honor of his career in as many seasons and represented an elevation from his honorable mention accolade in 2024. The Bologna, Italy, native was also named to the All-West Coast Conference first team after leading the Broncos in goals (71), points (96), steals (71), field blocks (17) and drawn exclusions (45). He paced the WCC in steals and sprint wins (51), while ranking tied for fourth in field blocks and fifth in goals. De Simon scored multiple goals in 20 of the team's 23 games this season and recorded multiple steals in 19 contests.

Engs served as the primary facilitator of the Broncos' offense in 2025, posting a career-high and team-leading 58 assists. He added a career-best 28 goals and finished with 86 points, ranking third on the team. His 58 assists tied for third in the WCC. Engs recorded 13 multi-assist performances, including a career-high seven against No. 19 Harvard on Oct. 26. He also matched his career high of three goals in four games, including contests versus No. 3 Stanford (Nov. 5), No. 13 Princeton (Sept. 6) and No. 15 Pacific (Oct. 5).

Santa Clara has earned multiple All-America honors each season since 2023. Prior to the current streak, the program had not produced an All-American since 2019, and before that season, had not earned multiple All-America awards since 2011.
