SACRAMENTO, Calif. — Santa Clara University men's soccer goalkeeper
Eduardo Marin has been selected as one of two California college student-athletes recipients of the February 2025 CalHOPE Courage Award.
The award has been presented monthly since February 2022 and honors student-athletes at California colleges and universities who have overcome the stress, anxiety, and mental trauma associated with personal hardships and adversity. In addition to the recognition, a $1,000 donation will be made on behalf of honorees to support on-campus mental health services.
Marin will receive his CalHOPE Courage Award trophy during an on-field presentation at the San Jose Earthquakes Major League Soccer game on March 15 at the PayPal Park in San Jose.
