REDWOOD SHORES, Calif. – Santa Clara men's rowing began its season at the Redwood Shores Invitational I over the weekend. Full results can be found here.
 
"Our season is underway and we got an early look at some of our new conference (MPSF) competitors. We had a game plan coming into this weekend and I thought our guys did a good job in some difficult race course conditions. It is very early in the season so we have a good idea of what we need to do over the next month or so before our next regatta at Redwood Shores with some of the same conference competitors. Great to get our freshmen class on the course and getting a taste of Division I rowing. Overall a good start point with a lot of room for improvement as we ultimately look to our conference championship for IRA qualification," said director of rowing Jay Farwell.
