Women's Golf Returning To NGI For Third Consecutive Year

SANTA CLARA, Calif. - Santa Clara women's golf is set to play in a postseason tournament yet again, accepting an invitation to play in the National Golf Invitational (NGI) hosted by Golfweek for the third-consecutive year. The tournament will once again be held at Ak-Chin Southern Dunes in Maricopa, Ariz., May 9-11.

"I am incredibly excited to have another opportunity to play in the postseason," head coach Krystal Kelly said. "This team has worked hard all season and I'm thrilled that they have another opportunity to play as a group. Thank you GolfWeek for inviting us back yet again."

The 10-team field for the 2025 NGI consists of Santa Clara, Bowling Green, Eastern Michigan, Mercer, North Texas, Oral Roberts, Rutgers, Seattle University, UNCG and UNCW.

The Broncos have finished in the top half of the field in both previous trips to the NGI, finishing fifth in 2023 and third in 2024. They are coming off a third-place finish at the WCC Championship that saw freshman Chloe Lam take fifth place en route to earning All-WCC honors.
