SANTA CLARA, Calif. – It was another good quarter for Santa Clara Athletics in the classroom. A total of 370 students posted a cumulative GPA of 3.391 during the Winter quarter.

Women's soccer led all teams with a 3.666 GPA with volleyball a close second at 3.648. Women's golf (3.595), women's rowing (3.584), softball (3.514), women's water polo (3.511), and women's tennis (3.511) were all above 3.500. Every team on the women's side was a above a 3.340.

On the men's side, soccer led the way with a 3.371. Men's water polo was second with a 3.363 and baseball rounded out the top three with a 3.331 mark.

Other highlights from the term include:

36 student-athletes earned a 4.00
81 student-athletes earned between 3.75-3.99
72 student-athletes earned between 3.50-3.74

A total of 149 student-athletes have a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher at the end of the winter term.
