WCC Finalizes 2026-27 MBB Conference Schedule

SAN BRUNO, Calif. - The West Coast Conference has finalized its 16-game mens' basketball conference schedule for the 2026-27 season. Santa Clara will officially begin its conference slate on Saturday, Jan. 2, with a short trip to Stockton to take on Pacific.

After a posting a program-record 15-3 conference record a season ago, the Broncos will look to repeat their success over the course of the schedule that features an even split of eight home and eight road contests. Under the direction of 11th-year head coach Herb Sendek, SCU has finished in the top-four of the league standings in each of the last five seasons, including a third-place finish last year en route to the program's first NCAA Tournament appearance since 1996.

Santa Clara's first home game of the conference slate is set for Thursday, Jan. 7, against rival San Francisco. They will play two more home contests in January on the 20th (Pepperdine) and 23rd (Pacific) before opening February with three consecutive games in the Leavey Center against Seattle U., San Diego and Denver. The Broncos will close out the slate with home games in two of their last three games of the regular season beginning Feb. 20 against LMU before hosting rival Saint Mary's on Feb. 27 for senior day.

Conference game times and television/streaming designations will be announced at a later date.
