SANTA CLARA, Calif. – The No. 40-ranked Santa Clara men's tennis team cruised past New Mexico 6-1 on Saturday, taking the doubles point and six of the seven singles matches, to win their fourth straight match.  Valentin Faure won both his doubles and singles matches while Luca Bluett clinched the victory for the Broncos at 4-0.  

HOW IT HAPPENED: 

• Santa Clara (8-2) took the doubles point on victories by Tiago Boschmans and Luca Lemaitre on court two, followed by Faure and Ferran Redza on court three. 
• In singles action, the Broncos won the first six matches, all in straight sets.  
• John Kim won on court three to kick things off.  Faure's victory on court five was next before Bluett clinched it on court six downing Connor Dils 6-3, 6-3. 
• The two schools played out the rest of the singles matches with Alexander Watanabe Eriksson victorious on court two along with Lukas Maskow at four.  
• The lone victory for New Mexico (3-8) came atop the singles lineup.  Dario Ciobotaru downed Luca Lemaitre in straight sets 6-7 (4-7), 7-5, 1-0 (10-7).
