WCC Commissioner's Honor Roll "Gold" Honors (2024-25)

AS A SOPHOMORE (2025-26): Named All-WCC singles honorable mention,  WCC All-Academic Team and CSC Academic All-District ... posted an overall record of 21-7 in singles and 15-8 in doubles ... led the team in overall singles wins and tied for the team high in overall doubles wins along with John Kim ... finished with an ITA Northwest Regional singles ranking of No. 20 ... FALL: Had a 5-3 singles and 1-4 doubles records ... advanced to the semifinals of the Intercollegiate Championships winning four straight matches before falling to USC's Niels Hoffman 6-4, 6-7 (4-7), 6-3 ... SPRING: Went 16-4 in singles and 14-4 in doubles to lead the team in wins in both disciplines ... in singles, played all season on court five ... led the team with six WCC singles wins (6-1) ... had a nine-match singles win streak (Feb. 8 - April 4) ... in doubles, played in all but four matches with Ferran Redza ... the tandem won the WCC Doubles Team of the Week (Feb. 24) ... primarily played on doubles court three going 13-3 ... went 1-0 on court one and 0-1 on court two ... won 11-straight doubles matches from Feb. 7 to April 4 ... had a 4-1 doubles record in WCC play ... in the NCAA Team Championship, beat Auburn's Alan Bojarski 4-6, 6-3, 7-6 (7-3) in singles and the doubles team of Jake Kennedy and Hamza Nasridinov 6-3 (May 1).      

AS A FRESHMAN (2024-25): Finished with an overall singles record of 12-10 and a doubles record of 15-9 ... FALL: Went 4-4 in singles and 5-3 in doubles ... SPRING: Had an 8-6 singles record including 3-2 in WCC play and 10-6 in doubles going 2-2 in the WCC ... went 2-2 on court four, 1-0 on court five and 5-4 on court six ... had the 3-all clincher against UNLV (Feb. 15) defeating Roberto Hernandez 6-4, 6-2 on court six to complete the Broncos comeback from being down 3-1 ... finished the season winning three of his last four singles matches, all coming against WCC schools ... in doubles, went 3-1 on court two and 7-5 on court three ... seven doubles wins came while paired with Tiago Boschmans ... had a season-high four straight doubles victories (Feb. 2 - 21).  

PRIOR TO SANTA CLARA: Graduated from CNED France in France ... reached a career-high ITF junior world ranking of 374 ... finished runner-up in singles at the French National Championships under 18 in 2022 ... won three doubles titles in ITF junior tournaments along with semi-finalist finishes in 25k and 15k pro events. 

GET TO KNOW VALENTIN: Majoring in economics (BS) ... gives tennis lessons to the children at his club's tennis school.
