SANTA CLARA, Calif. – Santa Clara men's tennis dropped a 4-1 match to UC Santa Barbara at the Degheri Tennis Center on Saturday.  The Broncos picked up the doubles point but the Gauchos took all singles matches.    

HOW IT HAPPENED: 

• Conrad Brown clinched the match defeating Luca Bluett 6-2, 5-7, 6-4 to cap off four consecutive singles match wins for UC Santa Barbara (6-0) who remained undefeated on the season.  
• Santa Clara (4-2) picked up their lone point on doubles wins on courts three and two. 
• At doubles court three, Valentin Faure and Ferran Redza downed Lorenzo Brunkow and Diogo Morais 6-3.  Tiago Boschmans and Luca Lemaitre secured the doubles point defeating No.80-ranked Miguel Avendano/Lucca Liu 7-6 (7-5) on court two.  
• In singles action, No. 31 Dominique Rolland took care of Luca Lemaitre 6-1, 6-3 for the first team point for the Gauchos.  
• UCSB got a couple of three set wins to take the lead.  On court five, Charlie Underwood beat Valentin Faure 4-6, 6-1, 6-2 followed by Diogo Morais over Lukas Maskow 6-4, 1-6, 6-3 on court four.
