SANTA CLARA, Calif. – No. 41 Santa Clara men's tennis blanked Pacific 4-0 to remain undefeated in West Coast Conference action and pushed their win streak to 12 matches on a Thursday matinee at the Degheri Tennis Center.  The Broncos improved to 3-0 in league play and 16-2 overall.  

HOW IT HAPPENED: 

• Santa Clara (16-2, 3-0 WCC) dominated Pacific (7-13, 1-3 WCC) winning the first two doubles matches to secure the team point and the first three singles matches without dropping a set to cruise to a 4-0 victory.  John Kim and Valentin Faure earned victories in both doubles and singles.  
• The Broncos got to their winning ways in doubles after dropping the point in the last two matches.  No. 49 Luca Bluett and Kim took care of Jonty Giesen and Nico Rating 6-4 on court 1.  Faure and Ferran claimed the doubles point with a 6-4 win past Terence Das and Niv Zuckerman on court three.   
• In singles, Kim stretched his individual win steak to a team-best 10 matches downing Das 6-1, 6-2 on court three for the first singles result. 
• Luca Lemaitre pushed the Broncos lead out to 3-0 when he beat Christof Schaertlin 6-1, 6-1 on court two. 
• The match clincher came from Faure on court five over Reuben De Klerk 6-3, 6-1.  
• It was the fourth time in the last five matches that Santa Clara did not lose a singles match.
