RANCHO CORDOVA, Calif. – Santa Clara men's rowing had a strong showing at WIRAs over the weekend.

The Broncos won the Grand Finals in the V8, 2V8, 2V4, and N4 and the Petite Final in the V4.

"We had a great team effort at WIRA Championship. Our top two 8s got the job against some very competitive boats. Our third 8 qualified for the A final and took fifth overall in the 2V8 event. We also had some success in the 4s with our 2V4 and Novice 4 taking first place. This was a great environment for us in preparation for our trip back east for Dad Vails Regatta on May 8 & 9 in New Jersey," Santa Clara head coach Jay Farwell said.
