SAN BRUNO, Calif. - The West Coast Conference announced the members of the 2025-26 WCC Men's Golf All-Conference Team and Honorable Mention selections on Wednesday, and Santa Clara Matt Robles was among those honored. The sophomore is one of the league's six honorable mention selections after a top-10 showing at the 2026 WCC Championship.

A native of Downey, Calif., Robles tied for seventh at the WCC Championship with a total of 4-under 209. He shot an outstanding 6-under 65 in the final round to help the Broncos rise up the leader board from 11th into a tie for fifth. The finish was just one of his team-best six inside the top-20 on the season, which included a pair of fourth-place finishes at the Palouse Collegiate and Bridgestone Collegiate Invitational. The sophomore led the team in scoring average at 71.06 strokes per round over 11 events played, which ranks as the sixth-lowest in a single-season in program history. 

Robles also ranks sixth on the program's top-10 list for rounds under par with 17 on the season. Through two seasons, he currently holds the third-lowest career scoring average in program history at 71.29 strokes. 

This is the second-consecutive season that Robles has been honored by the league office after earning both first team all-conference and WCC Men's Golf Freshman of the Year honors last year.
