SANTA CLARA, Calif. - Santa Clara men's basketball standout
Allen Graves is officially headed to Brooklyn for the 2026 NBA Draft. The big man is one of 24 players that has received an invitation from the NBA to be in the green room for next week's event, which will be held June 23-24 at the Barclays Center.
Graves is the third Bronco to earn a green room invite over the last five years, joining current pros Jalen Williams (Oklahoma City) and Brandin Podziemski (Golden State). The Ponchatoula, La., product is also the only prospect from a mid-major program to earn an invitation this year.
Graves is looking to join Williams (12th overall) and Podziemski (19th overall) as first round selections. If successful, he will be Santa Clara's third first round pick over the last five years and their fourth first rounder over the last 30 years (Steve Nash in 1996).
"We are thrilled that Allen has officially received his invitation to the green room," Santa Clara head coach
Herb Sendek said. "He is so deserving to be included in that elite group of prospects and I couldn't be happier for him to get to experience the NBA Draft in its full scope. We cannot wait to see which team is fortunate enough to draft him."
The NBA determines which of the pool of prospects to invite to the green room after conducting a vote amongst all teams on which players they anticipate being selected in the first 25 picks of the first round. Graves has been a near-consensus first round lock by NBA Draft pundits and currently ranks 17th on
ESPN's list of top prospects.
