SANTA CLARA, Calif. - Santa Clara men's basketball's
Elijah Mahi has been signed by the Oklahoma City Thunder to a Summer League deal. He will join the franchise in July where OKC is set to take part in both the Salt Lake City Summer League, July 3-7, and the Las Vegas NBA 2K Summer League, July 9-19.
Mahi, a First Team All-WCC and Second Team NABC All-District performer this past season, joins OKC as the first stop of his professional career after appearing in 67 games over two seasons with the Broncos. A three-time WCC Player of the Week, he averaged 12.6 points, 4.5 rebounds and 2.7 assists while shooting 46 percent for his career. The Toronto native tallied 42 career double-figure scoring efforts and eight games with 20 or more points.
Mahi is coming off his best season as a collegiate athlete, finishing second on the team and 12th in the WCC in scoring at 14.1 points per game as a senior. He reached double-figure scoring 26 times with a high of 30 on the road against San Francisco, and was SCU's leading scorer in the NCAA Tournament vs. Kentucky with 20 points.
Mahi will look to impress the Thunder enough throughout Summer League play to earn a contract. He is the second Bronco over the last three days to join an NBA Franchise, joining teammate
Allen Graves, who was selected
19th overall by the Toronto Raptors in the 2026 NBA Draft.
