245 Broncos Named to 2025-26 WCC Commissioner's Honor Roll

SANTA CLARA, Calif. — The Santa Clara University athletics department saw 245 student-athletes honored Thursday on the West Coast Conference's 2025-26 Commissioner's Honor Roll, collecting the second-highest total among all WCC teams.

The Broncos had 59 athletes claim "Gold" honors with cumulative Grade Point Averages between 3.75 and 4.00, including three perfect 4.0 GPAs: Lizanne Boyer of women's tennis, Spencer Roberts of men's soccer and Olivia Schlieman of women's cross country. Santa Clara also posted 72 "Silver" honorees (3.74-3.50) and 114 "Bronze" honorees (3.49-3.00). This school year's total was four more than the 241 honorees the Broncos had in 2024-25. Departing member Gonzaga had 256 student-athletes honored on this year's honor roll.

The 2025-26 Commissioner's Honor Roll set a conference record with 1,908 total honorees across the WCC's 10 member institutions.

Only grades earned at WCC institutions are used in calculating the GPA for this award. To be considered for the honor, student-athletes must have earned a varsity letter in a sport for which the conference determined a champion during the recently completed academic year, carry a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0 on a 4.0 scale, and have successfully completed an average of at least 12 graded credit hours (non pass-fail) per term.
