SANTA CLARA, Calif. - Santa Clara women's basketball has announced its 2026-27 nonconference schedule. Coming off an historic season, year two of the Loree Payne era features a strong slate of opponents to being the season. Tickets can be purchased here.

There regular season tips off at Wyoming on November 2 with games at Utah Valley (November 7) and Long Beach State (November 9) to follow.

The home slate beings with a Bay Area showdown between the Broncos and perennial powerhouse Stanford November 13. Santa Clara will also welcome Grand Canyon (November 17), San Diego State (December 3), UC Santa Cruz (December 6), Montana State (December 21), and Dominican (December 28).

The Broncos make visits to Arizona State (November 20), Boise State (December 13), and Washington (December 17). They will also play at the 2026 Paradise Jam in the U.S. Virgin Islands November 26 and 28. The first game will be against Xavier with the second against Texas Tech or Air Force.

The team set all sorts of records last season under Payne, including points in a season (2,728), scoring average (80.2), 3-point field goals (319), 3-point field goal attempts (1,030), and blocks (183). Paynes 10 nonconference wins, 13 conference wins, and 24 overall wins were the most by a first year head coach in program history. The 24 victories were also the third-most in a season.
