SANTA CLARA, Calif. – Santa Clara men's golf head coach Andrew Larkin has signed a contract extension that will keep him at the helm of the program through the 2029-30 season.

Entering his seventh season with the Broncos in 2026-27, Larkin has established himself as one of the most successful coaches in the program's history. Under his guidance, Santa Clara has produced four of the top five team averages in program history, has won a pair of team titles and has seen six players earn individual medalist honors. The Broncos have also shattered multiple program records, including the team scoring average at 283.72 strokes in 2024-25, and have seen multiple players go on to play at the professional level, including current PGA TOUR pro and 2024 Korn Ferry Tour Player of the Year Matt McCarty.

In 2025, Larkin guided SCU to a NCAA Regional appearance – the team's first since 2018 and just their such trip in program history. The team also logged a third-place finish at the 2025 WCC Championship – also their best outing at the event since 2018.

Under Larkin's tutelage a total of seven Broncos have earned eight combined All-WCC honors, including two-time selection Matt Robles, who also won the league's freshman of the year award in 2025.

Larkin and the Broncos are set to compete in five events during the fall portion of the upcoming 2026-27 campaign. Their journey begins Sept. 7-8 in Chandler, Ariz. At the Bomb Dart Birds Collegiate hosted by Southern Cal.
