SAN JOSE, Calif. - National Champion and All-American Santa Clara women's soccer star Leslie Osborne has been selected for induction into the San Jose Sports Hall of Fame as part of the 2026 class.
Each inductee will be permanently recognized with a bronze plaque displayed on the SAP Center at San Jose concourse, joining generations of South Bay sports legends whose achievements have shaped the region's athletic heritage. With the addition of the Class of 2026, the San Jose Sports Hall of Fame continues its tradition of preserving the stories of the athletes, coaches and pioneers who have defined sports in Silicon Valley.

Osborne was a two-time First Team All-American for the Broncos and won the 2004 Honda Award as the nation's top soccer player. She was named to the 2001 and 2004 College Cup All-Tournament teams and was instrumental in helping Santa Clara to the College Cup three times, including the program's first National Championship in 2001.
Osborne was also the back-to-back WCC Player of the Year in 2003 and 2004 as well as the league's Defender of the Year in 2004. She was named First Team All-WCC all four of her years with the Broncos.
Osborne is in the top-10 in program history for career goals, assists, and points. Her No. 10 jersey is one of four to be honored by Santa Clara. She was inducted into the Santa Clara Hall of Fame in 2-16 and the WCC Hall of Honor in 2014.
At the national level, Osborne would collect 61 caps with the US Women's National Team and scored three goals for her country.
Professionally, Osborne went on to play in the WPS and NWSL until announcing her retirement in 2014. Her No. 12 jersey is retired by the Boston Breakers of the WPSL.
Osborne is one of four Santa Clara women's soccer alums that brought the NWSL to the Bay Area as founders of Bay FC.
She joins program alums and co-founds of Bay FC Danielle Slaton (2017), Ally Wagner (2016), and Brandi Chastain (2012) in the San Jose Sports Hall of Fame.
