SANTA CLARA, Calif. - Santa Clara's women's soccer's match against preseason No. 1 Stanford on Sunday, September 6 has been picked up by ESPNU and will air on the national network. Kickoff is scheduled for 1 p.m. from Stevens Stadium

The Bay Area rivalry dates back to the Broncos inception as a program in 1980 with the two teams playing every year except the COVID-shortened 2020 campaign. While the Cardinal have had the upper hand during the recent regular season series, Santa Clara has beaten Stanford each of the last two times the teams faced off in the NCAA Tournament in 2016 and 2021.
