SAN BRUNO, Calif. - The West Coast Conference has unveiled their 2026-27 men's basketball weekly conference matchup schedule, which is set to begin on Jan. 2, 2027.
The WCC adopted a new scheduling format for men's basketball last season that includes conference games primarily contested on Wednesdays and Saturdays, and date flexibility with national television partners to provide more national exposure for the conference on additional days of the week. Conference weekday games in 2026-27 will be played on Tuesdays, Wednesdays or Thursdays, and weekend games will be played on Saturdays or Sundays. Specific game dates, along with broadcast and streaming information, will be announced later this fall following the conclusion of national television selections with the conference's partners, ESPN and CBS Sports Network.
Santa Clara is set to play in 16 total conference games beginning Jan. 2nd or 3rd on the road against Pacific. The Broncos will split the schedule evenly with eight road contests and eight games played inside the Leavey Center, with home-and-home series against Pacific, San Francisco, San Diego, LMU, Pepperdine, Saint Mary's and Seattle. Additionally, Santa Clara will face Portland just once Jan. 26-28 in Portland, and will host Denver University at home, Feb. 9-11, in the teams' first-ever meeting as WCC opponents.
