REDSHIRT SOPHOMORE (2019): Started in 29 of 35 games played ... started 13 games as the designated hitter, nine at right field, six at center field and one at left field ... opening day starter at left field ... batted nine times in the leadoff spot ... third on the team in slugging percentage (.354), fourth in on-base percentage (.327), second in home runs (five), tied for third in walks (14), fourth in hit by pitch (six) ... had seven multi-hit games ... drove in a season-high three runs against Gonzaga (April 18).
SOPHOMORE (2018): Played in just five games in an injury riddled season ... started all five games at center field while batting second in the lineup ... knocked in seven runs on five hits ... played first game of the season on March 16 at San Diego doubling home a run in the first inning ... hit a three-run home run at San Diego (March 18) ... finished the season with a .263 batting average (5-for-19), seven RBIs and three runs scored ... granted a redshirt season.
FRESHMAN (2017): Named to the All-WCC Freshman team ... started in all 53 games at centerfield ... fourth on the team in batting average at .293 and recorded 63 hits with eight doubles, three home runs and 22 RBIs ... led the team with 10 stolen bases on 14 attempts ... he drew 12 walks and was hit by a pitch three times ... recorded 151 putouts and six assists with a fielding percentage of .969 ... went 3-for-3 at the dish against Cal Poly on Feb. 28 with two RBIs, a walk and a run scored ... hit his first-career home run vs. Northwestern (March 3) in a 3-2 win for the Broncos. For the series against Northwestern, he went 7-for-16 at the plate with three runs driven in ... helped lead SCU to a win over UConn (March 14) with a 3-of-5 day at the plate with an RBI, two runs scored, a walk and a stolen base ... homered and drove in three runs with a 3-for-5 day at the plate against Purdue on March 18 ... Nnebe hit a walk-off home run on March 26 to lift SCU to an upset victory over then-No. 23 San Diego. He went 3-for-6 a the plate that day with a home run, five runs batted in and three runs scored ... went 4-for-13 at the plate in Santa Clara's three-game road sweep of Pepperdine (April 28-30) and also walked three times and scored two runs ... reached base safely in 19 of the last 22 games of the season.
PRIOR TO SCU: A graduate of Saint Mary's College High School, Nnebe hit .404 with three home runs and 17 RBIs as a junior in 2014-15 for head coach Casey Filson and the Panthers ... Saint Mary's edged Pinole Valley 6-5 in 10 innings to win the Tri-County League Tournament and went on to finish as runner-up in the Division IV North Coast Section Baseball Tournament ... earned First Team All-TCAL honors in each of the last two seasons and was selected to the Oakland Athletics Area Code Team in 2015 ... Nnebe has a 19-4 record alongside a 1.94 ERA on the mound in three high school seasons ... He and the Panthers were TCAL and NCS runners-up in 2014, and were TCAL and NCS champions in 2013.
