Made a splash in his collegiate debut versus CSUN (Feb. 15), throwing three shutout innings and recording his first career strikeout ... Only allowed one run and struck out a season-best three in a season-high 3 1/3 innings on the road at No. 12 Texas (March 8) ... HIGH SCHOOL: Played his prep ball at Westlake High School in Westlake Hills, Calif., outside of Thousand Oaks in Southern California ... Was a first team all-Marmonte League, first team all-section and first team all-county player for the Warriors, helping Westlake HS to a Marmonte League title as a senior in 2024 ... Pitched three years for the Warriors' varsity squad, posting an impressive 1.73 career ERA and 17 wins in 31 career appearances ... Totaled 140 strikeouts in his prep career against only 50 walks, a near-3-to-1 strikeouts-to-walks ratio ... Dominated as a junior in 2023, striking out 59 and only walking 19 (a better-than 3-to-1 ratio) while carrying a career-low 1.57 ERA ... Went 8-2 with a 1.61 ERA and 46 strikeouts as a senior in 2024 ... Habermann and the Warriors won the CIF Southern California Division III championship in 2023, and played in the CIF Southern Section Division II playoffs in 2024 ... Was ranked the No. 100 right-handed pitching recruit in California by Perfect Game, and among the state's top-300 overall recruits (No. 297).
