AT SANTA CLARA: An important piece of the Broncos' weekend rotation for three years after joining the program as a junior college transfer for the 2023 season ... Was named to the 2024 Preseason all-West Coast Conference team and 2023 WCC All-Tournament team ... Was named WCC All-Academic Honorable Mention in 2025 and earned "Bronze" honors on the WCC Commissioner's Honor Roll twice (2023-24, '24-'25) ... Made 21 starts in 32 career appearances, throwing over 125 innings (125 2/3) ... Recorded 180 career strikeouts against only 66 walks for a near 3-to-1 strikeouts-to-walks ratio ... Carried a 4.98 career ERA and an 11-17 record ... Singular complete games thrown in 2023 and '24 (two total) are the only complete games thrown by any Broncos pitcher since 2018.
AS A SENIOR (2025): Named WCC All-Academic Honorable Mention ... Earned "Bronze" honors on the WCC Commissioner's Honor Roll ... Was the Broncos' Friday night starter, making a team-high 12 starts in 15 appearances ... Recorded a career-high 71 strikeouts on the year (second on the team) in a team-leading 69 2/3 innings pitched ... Was also second on the team with three wins ... Recorded at least five strikeouts in eight of his appearances and threw at least five innings in nine of them ... Tied a career high with nine strikeouts in 4 2/3 innings of relief work at Portland (May 1) ... Had another "tough luck" season pitching-record-wise, throwing in nine games decided by two or fewer runs and the Broncos going 2-7 in those, including losing seven consecutive such contests after starting the year winning his first two close games ... Struck out seven and only allowed one earned run in five innings at California (Feb 28) for his first win of the season ... Struck out seven versus first-place San Diego (May 9) and struck out eight on the road at eventual WCC Tournament champion Saint Mary's (May 15) ... Had a knack for closing out innings, holding opponents to a paltry .143 batting average with two outs.
AS A JUNIOR (2024): Named to the Preseason All-WCC Team ... Landed on the WCC Commissioner's Honor Roll with "Bronze" honors ... Made 12 starts in 15 appearances as part of the weekend rotation ... Second on the team with 66 2/3 innings pitched and 52 strikeouts ... Posted a 2-5 record with a 5.27 ERA ... Allowed two or fewer earned runs in eight of his appearances ... Threw his second complete game in as many years at San Diego (May 4), throwing eight innings and only allowing two earned runs with four strikeouts ... Pitched in a lot of "tough luck" games, with seven of his appearances being decided by two runs or less, and the Broncos posting a 1-6 record in those games ... Struck out a season-high eight versus Saint Mary's (April 26) and walked only one ... Had multiple strikeouts in all but one of his outings, and had four or more Ks in seven of them ... Threw at least five innings in seven games.
AS A SOPHOMORE (2023): WCC All-Tournament Team … Earned WCC co-Pitcher of the Week honors (March 20) … Appeared in 17 games and made nine starts … Went 6-4 with one save and a 3.66 ERA in 59 innings … Totaled 57 strikeouts against 13 walks … Threw a complete game shutout with nine strikeouts in the Broncos' win at Saint Mary's (March 18) … Went eight shutout innings against Portland and got the win in the WCC Championship game (May 27).
AT SIERRA COLLEGE: Began his collegiate career at Sierra College in Rocklin, Calif., starting in 2021, and played one season of California Community College baseball in 2022 (2021 season was canceled state-wide) ... Started 13 games in 16 appearances for the Wolverines in 2022, going 5-4 with one save, a 4.56 ERA and a 1.43 WHIP ... Struck out 85 in 81 innings pitched (9.44 K/9 rate) against only 33 walks, a better-than 2.5-to-1 strikeouts-to-walks ratio ... Had back-to-back double-digit strikeout games on March 31 and April 7, whiffing a season-high 12 against Cosumnes River College and following that with 11 in his next start against American River College ... Tallied seven games with at least seven strikeouts ... Entered with the bases loaded and the tying run on deck in the bottom of the ninth on April 19 on the road at Sacramento City College. He got the strikeout to end the game and earn his first collegiate save ... Earned a postseason victory with seven innings and five strikeouts against Delta College in the first round of the CCCAA Regional playoffs (May 7).
HIGH SCHOOL: Was a multi-sport athlete in baseball, wrestling and basketball at Winters (Calif.) High School, graduating in 2020 ... Racked up 24 wins from 2017 to 2019 ... Had a 1.56 ERA, striking out 134 batters while walking only 26 over 148 innings ... Wrestled for four years and also played basketball for a year with the Warriors.
