HIGH SCHOOL: Attended Cathedral Catholic in Del Mar, Calif. ... helped the team win back-to-back CIF championships his junior and senior season … as a senior he hit .388 with two homers ... as a junior he hit .413 with nine homers and garnered All-CIF and Second-Team All-State honors … did over 100 hours of community service in high school.
