He has pitched on the junior varsity and he will be used as a situational lefty this year. His experience helps our younger players get adjusted to our system." AS A JUNIOR IN 2000: Pitched for the junior varsity squad. AS A SOPHOMORE IN 1999: Pitched with the junior varsity squad. AS A FRESHMAN IN 1998: Appeared in one game...tossed 0.2 scoreless innings in relief at Portland on May 1...struck out one batter...spent most of the season working with the junior varsity program.
