SENIOR (2011): Started 15 games on the season with a 3.26 ERA and a 4-7 record … led the team in innings pitched (105.0), complete games (2) and strikeouts (80) … in his first start of the season at South Carolina on Feb. 19, pitched 7.0 innings while striking out four and only allowing two runs … struck out seven in 7.1 innings vs. Albany to record his first win of the season on Feb. 26 … against San Jose State on Mar. 5, pitch 6.2 innings, allowing two runs on seven hits with a walk and a strikeout … collected eight strikeouts against one walk in 7.0 innings vs. UW-Milwaukee on Mar. 12 … threw a complete game eight-hitter vs. Brown while striking out a season-high 11 batters … threw 9.0 innings in a 13 inning win against Cal State Bakersfield and allowed only two runs on seven hits … started vs. LMU on Apr. 8 and went 6.1 innings while striking out one … pitched a complete game with nine strikeouts to get the win on Apr. 15 at Saint Mary’s … got a no-decision on Apr. 21 at San Francisco when he pitched 7.1 innings and stuck out six … struck out six in 6.2 innings and allowed one earned run vs. Gonzaga on Apr. 29 … at Pepperdine on May 6, pitched 8.0 innings and struck out four in a no-decision … struck out six in 6.0 innings on may 11 at UC Davis … got a no-decision in 7.0 innings while striking out six vs. San Diego on May 20… struck out three in 7.0 innings at Portland on May 27.
RS JUNIOR (2010): Key part of the Santa Clara bullpen, called upon 17 times … fanned 21 batters in 24 innings and walked just eight … went 3-0 with a 6.00 ERA with nine scoreless outings … worked a season-high three innings twice, the first coming at San Diego (4/16) and again at Loyola Marymount (5/30) … struck out a season-high four in that outing against San Diego (4/16) … credited with the win over No. 18 Stanford (4/26) by pitching a scoreless inning out of the pen … won again at home against UC Davis (5/5) getting four outs without allowing a run in an 8-6 SCU victory … would improve to 3-0 on the final day of the year at Loyola Marymount (5/30).
RS SOPHOMORE (2009): Sunday starter opening weekend at N.C. State (Feb. 22) in Raleigh, taking the loss in three innings of six-hit ball ... would be used mostly in relief and three more times as a spot starter ... gave up 60 hits in 34 2/3 innings while striking out 27 ... went 1-4 on the year with a 8.31 ERA ... had a solid relief outing against Cal (Mar. 25), striking out four ... worked a season-high seven innings against Long Beach State (Mar. 31) ... earned his first collegiate win after 4 2/3 innings of long-relief in SCU's 13-9 victory over Stanford (May 6).
RS FRESHMAN AT TAFT COLLEGE (2008): Named to the 2008 All-Central Valley Conference (CVC) First Team ... posted a record of 5-9 spanning 101.1 IP, striking out 92 K while walking only 19 ... threw five complete games and owned an ERA of 4.44.
AT GONZAGA (2007): Utilized a redshirt season, did not play.
HIGH SCHOOL: A 2006 graduate of Thom Collegiate High School in Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada ... named Thom Collegiate's 'Male Athlete of the Year' ... Thom's 2003 'Rookie of the Year' as a prep freshman ... tabbed as team MVP for three consecutive seasons (2004-06) ... played for coaches Mick Panko and Colin Back ... part of Canada's bronze medal winning team at the 2006 World Junior Baseball Championships ... also an All-Star on Thom's basketball team and its MVP.
