PRIOR TO SCU: 2017 graduate of St. Mary's High School in Stockton, California ... team captain his senior year ... a member of the varsity baseball team at St. Mary's since his freshman year ... helped St. Mary's win the Tri-City Athletic League (TCAL) title in 2014, 2015 and 2016 ... the squad also won the CIF San Joaquin South Section title in 2014 and 2015 while earning a runner-up finish in 2016 ... earned 2016 TCAL Honorable Mention accolades while pitching 46.2 innings with a 4-3 record, a 2.25 ERA and 31 strikeouts ... posted three-straight complete games during his junior campaign.
