AS A JUNIOR IN 2009: Led the team in virtuallyevery offensive category en route to earning All-West CoastConference First Team honors ... split the league's batting titlewith a .379 season average ... hit .386 with RISP and .380 with twoouts ... team-leader in hits (81), RBI (56), doubles (21), homers(5), total bases (117), slugging % (.547) and average (.379) ...ranked 53rd in the NCAA in doubles (21) ... ranked in the top-5among all WCC players in hits, RBI and doubles ... hit safely in 43of 53 games ... 27 multi-hit games and 15 multi-RBI games were bothteam-high's ... began the year starting nine games as the DH,appeared in the remaining 44 at catcher ... went 2-for-4 on openingday against Xavier (2/20), driving in three runs ... went on to hitsafely in 11 of the first 13, hitting a three-run homer against SanJose State (2/28) ... matched a season-high with three hits at UCDavis (3/11), beginning a stretch of three games where he went7-for-11 with eight RBI ... enjoyed a season-high nine-game hittingstreak March 28-April 9, hitting 18-for-39 (.461 BA) against LMU,Long Beach State, Stanford, San Diego and Hawaii ... caught fire inlate April-early May, hitting .516 in eight contests - seven ofwhich were multi-hit games.
