Biography

SENIOR (2018): Drafted in the ninth round (266th overall) by the Toronto Blue Jays in the 2018 Major League Baseball draft ... Named Second Team All-West Coast Conference ... hit two grand slams in one inning against Boston College (Feb. 17) becoming just the seventh Division I player to hit two grand slams in one inning since the official NCAA Division I baseball records began keeping track in 1957 and was the first to record the feat since T.J. Soto of Louisiana Tech did it against Western Kentucky in 2000 ... finished the Feb. 17 game vs Boston College with 10 RBIs on three home runs ... named NCBWA National Hitter of the Week (Feb. 20) ... twice named Rawlings WCC Player of the Week on Feb. 20 and March 19 ... finished Bronco career tied for third in doubles (54) and extra-base hits (84), seventh in RBIs (139), tied for eighth in home runs (27) and ninth in at-bats (743) and total bases (340) ... for the season, led the team in slugging percentage (.555), RBIs (56), doubles (15), home runs (15), total bases (117), at-bats (211), games started (all 52 games), multi hit games (17) and multi RBI games ... started 45 games at first base and seven at third base ... hit third in the lineup in 41 games and cleanup in 11 games ... recorded 391 putouts and 51 assists in 447 chances for a .989 fielding percentage ... three of the five errors came while playing third as only two of the errors came while playing first ... his other multi home run game came against San José State (April 10) with a pair of solo shots ...  was one of 13 seniors recognized on Senior Day vs LMU (May 13). 

JUNIOR (2017): All-WCC First Team honoree ... Started all 53 games at first base ... led the team in batting average at .338, was second in slugging at .532 and third in on-base percentage at .375 ... hit seven home runs and led the team in RBIs with 39 ... ranked No. 23 in the country with 21 doubles on the year. That mark is tied for the sixth-best total in program history for a single season ... recorded a hit in eight straight games and 18 of 20 from Feb. 28 to April 2 ... reached base safely in 15 straight games from March 15 to April 8 ... posted a hit in each of the final 14 games (April 28 to May 21) ... recorded 22 multi-hit games ... recorded 404 putouts and 38 assists on the year at first base with a .991 fielding percentage ... went 3-for-5 at the plate against St. Louis (Feb. 25) with two doubles and two RBIs ...  had a big series against Northwestern (March 3-5), going 9-for-17 with two doubles, a home run, six runs batted in and one run scored ...  saw the ball well at Portland (March 31-April 2) as he went 5-for-13 with four doubles and a home run ... went 8-for-15 at the plate in the Broncos' three-game sweep at Pepperdine (April 28-30), including a home run and seven RBIs. He was named Rawlings WCC Player of the Week (May 1) ... hit two home runs against Pacific (May 12) in a 3-for-4 day at the plate with five RBIs ... went 5-of-11 at the plate in the final series of the season at St. Mary's (May 19-21) with two home runs and two doubles and six runs batted in.

SOPHOMORE (2016): Made 43 appearances and 41 starts, primarily at first base ... Opening Day starter at first base ... hit .231 with seven doubles, four home runs (tied for third on the team), 22 RBIs and 25 runs scored ... went 5-for-6 on stolen base attempts ... went 2-for-5 with a home run, two runs scored and a stolen base at San José State Feb. 23 ... went 2-for-3 with a double, an RBI, two runs scored, a walk and a stolen base vs. Saint Joseph's Feb. 27 ... tallied 12 RBIs in an 11-game stretch March 26-April 12 ... drove in two runs vs. San José State March 30 ... went 2-for-5 with a double, two RBIs and a run scored vs. Saint Mary's April 3 ... doubled, homered, drove in two runs and scored two runs vs. New Mexico April 12 ... hit safely multiple times in three straight games April 17-23.
