2023-24: Had a great redshirt freshman campaign where he played in all 33 games and made six starts ... Averaged 4.1 points and 4.8 rebounds ... Tallied 157 total rebounds - the eighth-most by a freshman in program history ... Elevated his play in league play with 5.3 points and a team-best 6.5 rebounds against WCC opponents ... Named to the WCC's All-Freshman Team ... Posted first career double-double with 10 points and 11 rebounds at San Francisco (2/10) ... Followed up with his second-straight double-double consisting of a career-high 17 points and 10 rebounds vs. Pacific (2/15); also dished out a season high-tying six assists ... Had a nine-game stretch through league play where he pulled down at least six rebounds, including 10 or more boards in four-straight games (San Diego, at San Francisco, Pacific, at San Diego) ... Played for the German U20 National Team and helped the team to a sixth-place finish at the 2023 FIBA U20 European Championship ... Averaged 5.3 points, 5.7 rebounds and 4.9 assists at the event ... He returned with Team Germany for the 2024 FIBA U20 Eurobasket. 

HIGH SCHOOL/AMATEUR: Played high school basketball for Ratiopharm Ulm in Germany, who is coached by his father, Chris ... Played two seasons for OrangeAcademy in the German Pro B South League ... Averaged 7.9 points, 6.2 rebounds and 2.5 assists in 2021-22 .. Earned eurobasket.com Pro B All-Honorable Mention ... Helped OrangeAcademy advance to the division semifinals ... Was the leading rebounding of the Adidas Next Generation Tournament at 12.3 boards per game ... GET TO KNOW JAKE: Born in Ulm, Germany where he lived for the first 18 years of his life before moving to the United States ... Majoring in finance ... Father, Chris, was a four-year star at Valparaiso who left the team in 1996 as the program's all-time leading rebounder.
