Biography

As a Junior in 2002: Had a breakthrough year in 2002, starting 50 of the 51 games in which he played... batted .330 with 12 doubles, 12 home runs, 44 RBI and 38 runs scored... earned honorable mention All-West Coast Conference honors... was named WCC Player of the Month in April after going 28-for-63 (.444) with eight home runs, five doubles and 26 RBI, leading the team in home runs, RBI, runs scored (18), total bases (56), slugging percentage (.949) and on base percentage (.515) during that mongth... earned WCC Player of the Week honors for the final week in April after going 9-for-15 (.562) with three home runs and 11 RBI... went 4-for-4 with four RBI, including a double and a home run against San Diego on April 14... finished the year third on the team in batting averaging and first in home runs.

As a Sophomore in 2001: Started in 35 of the 42 games in which he appeared during his sophomore season... finished season with a .233 average, going 28-for-120... went 3-for-4 with a runs scored and a run batted in against Fresno State... went 2-for-3 against Pepperdine with three runs batted in... went 2-for-4 on five separate occasions including the game against Saint Mary's in which he also tallied four runs batted in... committed only four errors in 194 chances for a .979 fielding percentage.

As a Freshman in 2000: Appeared in 33 games and started 26 as a true freshman... top batting performance was a 3-for-5 effort against Portland with three RBI... went 2-for-2 against Sacramento State with three RBI and a home run... suffered a broken leg in a play at the plate during the USF series late in the year.

High School Information: Prepped at Reno High School in Reno, Nevada... played both catcher and first base for head coach Pete Savage... hit .450 with 11 home runs and 45 RBI as a senior... holds school records for most career homers and most career doubles... Reno captured four NIAA championships in his tenure... graduated with a 3.60 grade point average.
