CUMMINS ON SNYDER: "Josh is the hardest thrower of all the freshman pitchers. He works hard on his consistency and he has a chance to be a real power pitcher for us once he gains some experience." HIGH SCHOOL INFORMATION: A 2000 graduate of Salpointe Catholic in Tucson, Ariz....coached by Steve Perri...team advanced to Class 5A state playoffs and finished second in the Southern Region...pitches a no-hitter in a prep tournament...also participated on the wrestling team. PERSONAL DATA: Son of Jack and Jean Snyder...born August 17, 1982 in Tucson, Ariz....plans to major in business...enjoys music and golf.
