2022-23: Played in the Broncos' first three games of the season where he averaged 10.0 ppg before suffering a season-ending injury ... Scored 12 points on 5-of-7 shooting in his SCU debut vs. Eastern Washington (11/7) ... Followed up with eight points vs. Georgia Southern (11/10) and 10 points on the road against Utah State (11/14). 

TENNESSEE STATE: Was a two-time All-Ohio Valley Conference (OVC) selection ... In 2021-22, he earned all-conference honors as a redshirt junior after averaging 12.8 points, 3.4 rebounds and 1.4 assists per game ... His 12.8 ppg led the team and ranked 11th in the OVC ... Was the OVC's second-best 3-point shooter at 40.6 percent and ranked sixth in the league with 1.9 treys per contest ... Had 18 double-digit scoring efforts, including five 20-point outings in 2021-22 ... Dropped a then-career-high 26 points against Campbellsville-Harrodsburg ... Had a pair of 25-point games, including one against UT Martin in which he was 7-of-9 from 3-point range ... Did not see any action in 2020-21 ... Joined the Tigers in 2019-20 and quickly made his mark on the program by earning spots on the All-OVC Second and All-Newcomer Teams ... Started 27 of 31 games that season while leading the team with 11.7 ppg and tallying 19 double-digit scoring games.

Finished his NCAA D1 career with 1,201 points ... 96 appearances and 76 starts ... Averaged 12.5 points, 4.2 rebounds and 1.7 assists ... Career 44.4 percent shooter and 42.4 percent from 3-point range. 

JUNIOR COLLEGE: Played one season at Southwest Tennessee Community College ... Earned first team All-Tennessee Community College Athletics Association Region Seven honors ... Was the team's second-leading scorer at 12.8 ppg ... Had a career-high 30 points on 10-of-14 3-point shooting against Blue Mountain College.

HIGH SCHOOL: Attended Southwind High in Memphis where he led the team to a 32-7 record and a spot in the Class AAA state championship game as a senior in 2017 ... Earned a spot on the AAA All-Metro team as a senior and was an all-state pick as a junior. 

GET TO KNOW CARLOS: Nickname is "Chef" ... Pursing a master's degree in educational leadership ... Enjoys playing video games, specifically Call of Duty, NBA2K and Apex Legends, in his free time ... Has worked with children at the Boys and Girls Club.
