FRESHMAN (2012): Ripped a double and scored a run vs. San Jose State … Broke out for a 4-5, 3 RBI, 2 R performance including his second 2B of the season vs. Cal Poly … hit a double and had 1 RBI and 1 R at USD … broke out for 4 RBI and had two hits vs. Fresno State … went 2-3 with 2 R vs. Saint Mary’s. 

HIGH SCHOOL: Graduated from Bellarmine College Prep in San Jose, Calif. … played both baseball and football for the Bells … played baseball for coach Mike Rodriguez and football for Mike Janda … was captain and team MVP senior year ... named First Team All-West Catholic Athletic League after hitting .350 with four home runs and 12 doubles during his senior season… played club baseball for the California Smoke where he tied an all-time Smoke batting record with a .405 average… his Smoke team went 33-13 his senior year.

PERSONAL: Born in San Jose, Calif…. parents Chris and Margaret are Santa Clara alums… has three siblings: Michael, Katie and Kevin … Michael played baseball at Loyola Marymount (LMU) and in the independent league(Golden Baseball League)… Kevin is currently a red-shirt-freshman pitcher for LMU… sister Katie played volleyball at both LMU and Cal State East Bay… currently studying in the College of Arts and Sciences.
