JUNIOR (2023): Second Team All-WCC … WCC Pitcher of the Week (March 13) … appeared in 22 games and made 1 start … went 6-5 … had a 3.42 ERA in 55.1 innings … 69 strikeouts against 15 walks … 4 saves … led the team in appearances … struck out 7 in 3.2 innings vs. Washington (Feb. 18) … struck out 9 in 3 innings vs. Villanova (March 12) … struck out 8 in 4.1 innings vs. San Francisco (May 6).

SOPHOMORE (2022): All-WCC honorable mention … appeared in 15 games and made 12 starts … 4.91 ERA in 69.2 innings … 3-3 record … 75 strikeouts … got the win in 6.2 innings while allowing 1 run with 8 strikeouts vs. UC San Diego (March 5) … went 4.2 innings in relief to get the win while punching out 10 vs. San Jose State (March 22) … fanned 10 in 6 innings at Pacific (April 3) … picked up the win in 6 1-run innings at San Diego (May 1).

FRESHMAN (2021): Appeared in 14 games, all out of the bullpen ... finished season with an 0-2 record and a 4.88 ERA ... struck out 24 batters over 31.1 innings and issued nine walks ... set season-highs in innings (5.0) and strikeouts (four) against San Francisco (May 29) ... tossed four scoreless innings against San Francisco (April 9) ... only allowed two home runs in 31.1 innings, both coming in the final appearance of the season.  
PRIOR TO SCU: Graduated from Reno High in Reno, Nevada, in 2020 ... two-sport athlete that played baseball and basketball ... right-handed hitting and throwing pitcher/first baseman helped lead the Huskies to a runner-up finish in the 2019 state championships on the diamond ... named first-team all-High Desert League relief pitcher, limiting opponents to a .201 batting average during junior season ... hit .318 with a .427 on-base percentage in 2019 ... named team captain on the hardwood for the 2019-20 season ... averaged 12.6 points and 5.9 rebounds per game ... named second-team all-league as a junior.  
PERSONAL: Father, Bradley Hales, swam at UCLA in the late 70s/early 80s ... enjoys playing games in his spare time including: ping pong, spikeball, cornhole, pool, foosball, and board games.
