HIGH SCHOOL INFORMATION: A 2000 graduate of Gunderson High School in San Jose, Calif....played for Coach Jim Castello...selected first-team all-league twice... recorded six home runs, 35 RBI and a .440 batting average as a senior...a second-team all-league selection as a sophomore...named league freshman of the year...recorded 18 career wins as a pitcher...received several scholar-athlete awards...also played football and basketball.

PERSONAL DATA: Son of Bob and Joyce Chesnos...born May 11, 1981 in San Jose, Calif....both parents attended San Jose State...enjoys playing and watching baseball and all sports in general...plans to major in business.
