As a Freshman in 2001: Started 24 of the 35 games in which he appeared in during his inaugural season in a Bronco uniform... knocked in five runs on 15 hits which included two doubles and one home run... went 2-for-3 with two runs batted in and two runs scored, a home run and two walks against San Francisco in the final game of the season.

High School Information: A 2000 graduate of El Dorado High School in Placerville, Calif... played for Coach Ben Moran... selected all-Sierra Valley Conference... named team's MVP... batted .473 with six home runs and 27 RBI as a senior... participated in Area Code Goodwill Games squad that competed in Australia... named Optimist All-Star.
