Adam Bauman is entering his third year as the video coordinatorfor the Santa Clara men's and women's basketball teams.
Prior to joining the Bronco staff, he had a four-month stintunder Arizona State University head men's basketball coach HerbSendek as a graduate assistant. Bauman's main responsibilities withthe Sun Devils were player development, managing the recruitingdatabase and assisting the video coordinator in everydayoperations.
Bauman is a 2008 graduate of Southern Illinois University wherehe earned a degree in Kinesiology. As an undergraduate, he workedas an assistant to the Salukis men's basketball team under headcoach Chris Lowery. His main responsibilities were film exchangeand assisting in the organization of summer camps, scouting andvarious day-to-day operations within the program.
While in Carbondale, the Salukis made three NCAA Tournamentappearances including a Sweet 16 run in 2007; and one appearance inthe NIT in 2008. In addition, he has coached at several summerbasketball camps including Arizona State, Purdue, and Texas.
The 25-year-old is a native of Pontiac, Ill., who graduated fromPontiac Township High School. He was a two-year varsity letterwinner in basketball at Pontiac.
