Caine Purnell was hired as Santa Clara Men's Basketball's Director, Video & Analytics on July 1, 2025. He joins the team in a full-time capacity for the 2025-26 season after serving as a graduate assistant for two seasons.Â
Purnell was a graduate assistant for the Broncos for both the 2023-24 and 2024-25 seasons. He previously was a basketball operations assistant for the Illawarra Hawks of the Australian National Basketball League in 2022-23.Â
Purnell also served as an international scout for ID Prospects for two years.
A native of Sydney, Australia, Purnell graduated from Macquarie University in Sydney with a bachelor of laws in 2022. Her recently received his Master's in Educational Leadership from Santa Clara.Â
