Coach Davey's 2000 Preseason Comments on Dustin: "Dustin is by far the hardest worker on the team. He has put more hours in the gym than any other player in our program. He should have an opportunity to contribute this year. If work ethic is a criteria for having a chance, then Dustin is going to right in the thick of things.

AS A SENIOR IN 2000-2001: Saw action in 12 games as a reserve ... started the Portland contest as one of four seniors playing in their last home game ... scored one point from the free throw line at Pepperdine on 1-for-2 from the stripe ... suffered a cut on the top of his head while diving for a loose ball against Saint Mary's and received five stitches.
AS A JUNIOR IN 1999-2000: Saw action in 12 games...scored three points on the season, all on free throws...attempted three shots including two three pointers and went 2-for-4 from the field in win at Loyola Marymount...scored free throw against Saint Mary's.
