EYEBRONCO: Jared Brownridge welcomes Evan Wardlow

A second-year guard who only played in seven games in 2015-16 because of a broken wrist.

2015-16 (SO): Started four of seven games played for the Broncos ... played only seven games due to a broken wrist suffered against Arizona (Nov. 26) ... averaged 19.9 minutes/game when he was healthy ... posted a season-high five rebounds in the season-opener versus Lipscomb (Nov. 13) ... recorded a season-high 36 minutes and eight assists against Arizona (Nov. 26).

“I chose Santa Clara because I liked the campus. It’s also a really good academic school. They are on the rise as a basketball program. I was really comfortable with the coaching staff. Once I graduate from Santa Clara, I will be able to have a real career if basketball doesn’t work out.”
