Why Santa Clara?

“I chose Santa Clara University for three great reasons. It is a well-renowned academic school with national top rated engineering programs; the basketball program is building to compete at the very highest level in the country – something I want to be a big part of; I have lived in the Bay Area and really love the area and opportunities it presents. Santa Clara University can certainly provide me with the necessary tools to develop my future career. I am very grateful for the opportunity to improve my basketball skills towards professional level, while also obtaining a degree in engineering at a world-class school. This is a long-time dream come true for me. The coaching staff has made me feel very comfortable and welcomed. That’s important for me personally since Santa Clara is a long way from my home and family in Sweden.”
