"Justin is one of the better shooters on our team who can play both the three and four spots for us this year. We will count on Justin to rebound more for us this year than he has in years past. Offensively, he gives us an opportunity to do some various different things with our lineup. He is a team captain and has developed into an active leader."

AS A SENIOR IN 2001-2002: One of the school's all-time leaders in three-point field goals and three-point attempts ... missed the season opener against Pacific and the Loyola contest due to an lower abdomonial muscle strain ... started the Cal game and scored nine points with six rebounds in 27 minutes ... scored nine points at Washington at against San Jose State ... recorded a double-double with 10 points and 10 rebounds at Wright State ... recorded 12 points on 6-for-8 shooting against Chico State ... nearing the school record books in three-point makes and attempts ... blocked final shot attempt by UCSB in Cable Car Classic championship game to secure two-point win over the Gauchos ... scored 11 points in final game in home state of Oregon in win at Portland ... went 3-of-6 from the three-point stripe vs. Pilots ... started the contest at San Diego ... scored 13 points in starting role at Saint Mary's on 3-of-4 shooting from the three-point line ... scored 13 points in win over Portland at home ... played in a limited capacity at LMU and Pepperdine due to a hip injury.

AS A SOPHOMORE IN 1999-2000: Saw action in 23 games, including all 14 conference games...scored in double figures twice...established a career-high with 15 points in just 10 minutes against San Francisco...went 5-for-6 from the field and 3-for-4 from the free throw line against the Dons...recorded 10 points in just 14 minutes at Saint Mary's...averaged 9.3 points in three games against San Francisco on the season...grabbed half of his 26 rebounds on the season in the last five games.

AS A REDSHIRT FRESHMAN IN 1998-99: Appeared in 26 of 29 games, making one start at Stanford...averaged 1.8 points and 0.9 rebounds...saw action in 13 of 14 WCC games, playing a total of 92 minutes...took high-point scoring honors vs. Mount St. Mary's, finishing with a career high 16 points on 7-of-10 shooting from the floor, including 2-of-3 from three-point range...tallied 12 of those 16 points in the first half, helping Santa Clara to a 42-24 halftime lead...scored just 24 points over his next 20 games...scored six points on 3-of-5 shooting from the floor vs. William & Mary at the Stanford Invitational...scored two points and pulled down one rebound in his first collegiate start against Stanford...finished with seven points in a 13-minute playing stint vs. Loyola Marymount in the first round of the WCC Tournament.
